The Ins and Outs of Winning a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Case

Please join the McLean County Bar Association in welcoming Ms. Charlotte Alvarez. She will lead the Bar through a presentation on the DACA program which was created by President Obama in 2012. That program was suspended for the majority of the past four years. Thanks to a combination of Supreme Court litigation and executive policy changes, the program is once again open to new applicants, providing an exciting new path to work authorization and status for thousands of youth in our communities. In this CLE, you will learn the ins and outs of obtaining DACA status for clients, either in private practice or as a pro bono volunteer with The Immigration Project.
