Please join the McLean County Bar Association in welcoming Mr. Thomas E. McClure, J.D., M.S. He will lead the Bar through a presentation on the current Evictions Law in Illinois. Mr. McClure will include topics such as lease formats and terms, breach of lease, service of notice, specific procedures for certain tenancies and tenants and filing suit. He will also review two forms including the 'Plantiff's Certification of Compliance with the Governor's Executive Order on Evictions' and the 'Declaration Under Penalty of Perjury for State of Illinois Executive Order 2020-72.'
Chief Judge Fellheimer will provide closing remarks on the current local Evictions situation. Attorney Adrian Barr will include local updates following Judge Fellheimer. Presentation questions will be fielded after the local updates. This presentation may go beyond the 60 minute mark. You are invited to stay as you are able.
