Overview:
Mr. Bullington attended Washington State University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He then attended the University of Illinois College of Law and graduated with his Juris Doctorate.
In law school, Mr. Bullington was an active member of the inaugural Federal Civil Rights Clinic and interned with a public defender's office in the Seattle area where he gained jury trial experience early on in his career. Upon graduation, he worked with the Bloomington office of Prairie State Legal services, Inc. While there, he worked primarily in the areas of Landlord Tenant, Social Security and Family Law.
Mr. Bullington has also worked as an assistant Public Defender for McLean County where he handled misdemeanor cases and served on the mental health specialty court as a representative of the Public Defender's office.
Mr. Bullington's practice has been focused on litigation. He has successfully argued several jury trials and countless bench trials. Additionally, he has practiced in the areas of real estate litigation, foreclosure, landlord tenant, divorce, custody/visitation, orders of protection, criminal law, DUI, Social Security, and debt collection. He currently focuses his practice in the areas of criminal law and family law, including divorce/dissolution of marriage, custody/visitation, orders of protection and child support.
Mr. Bullington is an active member of the McLean County Bar Association and serves on several committees. Mr. Bullington is the Chair of the Community Services/Scholarship Committee and Co-Chair of the Family Law Committee.
Further, Mr. Bullington serves as an Assistant Coach with Illinois State University for their Mock Trial team. With his help, ISU's team advanced to the American Mock Trial National Championship tournament in 2012.
