Different Approaches to Resolving Disputes in conjunction with the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts

Please join the McLean County Bar Association and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts for the Collaborative Law Practice and Parenting Coordinator Practice presented by Attorneys, Beth F. McCormack, JD, and Dr. Gail Petrich, JD, MA, Psy.D. This program is for attorneys and mental health professionals who are interested in learning more about different approaches to resolving family disputes.
The course objectives are:
- Educate lawyers and mental health professionals on the positive effect of Parenting Coordination
- Encourage lawyers and mental health professionals to consider this approach in their own practice for divorcing couples who want to avoid court
- Discuss the unique role Parenting Coordinators have and how they can be invaluable to high-conflict families
- Describe the relevance of Parenting Coordination in the realm of Alternative Dispute Resolution, and how it helps the family long-term, especially the children
This program will include 1 hour of general CLE Credit. [approved]
This program is also approved for CEUs for mental health providers by Margret S. Powers for all Licensed Mental Health Providers in Illinois.

Registration and Location
This Tuesday, September 18 program will be held at Second Pres, 404 N. Prairie Street in Bloomington. The luncheon cost is $20 per Bar Member ($25 for non-members) if paid on or before September 10, 2018, after September 10, 2018 registration cost is $25 ($30 for non-members). All registered participants will receive emailed materials by the Monday before the luncheon.
Please note that meals are not guaranteed for late or "walk-in" registrants. Late and "walk-in" registrants must wait until timely registered attendees have been served.
