RE:             Dress Code

Having allowed a relaxed dress code during the COVID-19 pandemic, and following discussion with the presiding circuit judges within the McLean County Circuit Court, effective September 1, 2021, the McLean County Law & Justice Center courtrooms and judicial offices will return to traditional courtroom business attire for attorneys appearing in court.

All court staff and other staff working in the courtrooms will return to a business casual dress code for non-jury trial proceedings and traditional business attire for jury trials.
