MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENTWhile the rain was a welcome visitor and cooled us off for a bit, things are heating up for the Bar! My message only touches upon a few of those events so please review the entire Enewsletter for all of the great happenings coming this Fall. Bruegala takes place THIS Friday and Saturday at the Corn Crib. For those of you who are unfamiliar, it is a charity beer and wine festival that supports many local organizations. Prairie State Legal is supported based upon the number of volunteers secured for the fest. If you are interested, please make sure Prairie State gets credit for volunteers by signing up at this LINK. If you are unable to attend/volunteer for the event on Friday/Saturday, please note that there are volunteer positions for Thursday set-up and Sunday tear-down. Everyone's help is greatly appreciated. Next Tuesday, August 20th, the CLE Luncheon will be presented by Senator Jason Barickman, AN OVERVIEW OF THE CANNABIS REGULATION AND TAX ACT. This will offer a 1 hour general CLE credit. Please register now through the link listed below. Lastly, we have two upcoming opportunities to share a laugh or two with our fellow members: Happy Hours at Keg Grove on August 29th and at Nightshop on August 30th.
