The G.A.L. Appointment:
Are you protected? A discussion of the language used in the appointment order.

This presentation will make practitioners and Judges aware of the ways in which the GAL may be subjected to liability and how the Courts may protect those who serve in court-appointed roles. In addition, the speakers will discuss the language used in these orders and provide suggested sample orders. 

Presenters: Hon. Donald Bernardi Circuit Judge (Retd.) and Hon. Amy McFarland
