War Stories

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Last Friday, members of our association attended a memorial service celebrating the life of Melissa McGrath.  We heard many wonderful stories about Melissa, especially from Gina Wood and Justice Knecht. Melissa will be truly missed.

Don’t forget to put Family Day on your calendar for June 9th from 2-6pm at the Corn Crib. I’ve received a few suggestions for our softball team’s  name including Dewey Hit em and Howe, The Escheaters, Rational Bases, Bad News Barristers (or is it Bad News Bearsisters), Full Count Dismissed, The Minimum Contacts, Rock and Roll Writs and my personal favorite, International Shoes (Go Shoes!).  Let me know which ones you like.  And don’t forget that the Zoo Lady will be there painting your kid’s faces and blowing up balloons. If you get hungry and thirsty the Corn Crib concession stand will be there for you.  It should be a great day!  See more details below.

Don’t forget to sign up for the annual Golf Outing on June 3rd and the annual meeting to be held on June 18th.  Both events will be held at the Bloomington Country Club.  You can sign up below.

And finally, please see if you can attend the Young Lawyer Division monthly happy hour this Friday May 31st from 5-7pm at Nightshop. You don’t have to be young to attend.

Have a great week.
Paul Lawrence
