Court Technology Roundtable: with Judges & Clerks & Admin

Register now for the Court Technology Roundtable with Judges and Clerks. This program will discuss practices and preferences for efiling and the use of Zoom in the Family, Civil and Criminal Divisions. Circuit Clerk Don Everhart and Will Scanlon will provide an update about the new case management system. Following the roundtable discussion, there will be a demonstration of the new courtroom technology, including how attorneys can utilize it in a court case. Please submit any questions you have in advance through the link below.
 
The Roundtable will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Jury Assembly Room (Room 503) of the Law and Justice Center. Lunch will be served. Following the discussion, the demonstration will be held in one of the 5th Floor Courtrooms.

D&I Committee officially changed the name to: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility [DEIA]

​The MCBA Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Committee seeks to increase diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within the profession and practice of law in the community and among its members.  In addition, the committee seeks to develop and implement guidelines and trainings to encourage inclusion of people within the practice of law regardless of race, ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic background, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, religion, or political affiliation.

Join us in celebrating the legacies of our 2023 History Makers (Dotti Bushnell, Mary & Hank Campbell, Willie and Charles Halbert, and Guy Fraker).  The History Makers Gala will be held on Wednesday, June 21st, at the Brown Ballroom on the campus of Illinois State University. The Gala dinner will feature live entertainment that celebrates the honorees and their service to our community. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $100 for non-members and $75 for Museum members (reserve your seat before June 9th).
