This award will be presented at the annual meeting. The MCBA Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 25 at The Bloomington Country Club. More information and registration is located at this LINK. The registration will open to all of the membership next week.
Award Criteria
In order to qualify for the Young Lawyer Award, one must be:
1. Under the age of 36 or less than 10 years in practice
and
2. A member in good standing with the McLean County Bar Association.

Please note one nominee update. Ron Lewis nominated John Nairn. Ron wanted the committee to know that John has since accepted a position in his home county and will be leaving the Public Defender’s Office soon. Ron wanted the committee to be aware of this change in case the goal of this award is to encourage and recognize young attorneys who stay local.
