This is the 12th year that the McLean County Bar Association has partnered with the McLean County Nursing Home to adopt residents. This nursing home facility is a high-Medicaid bed nursing home and most of the adopted residents have very low-income. In fact, most of the residents who receive the MCBA gifts might otherwise have no holiday gifts. The staff continues to share heart warming gratitude for all of the generosity given their way through the years! We were able to obtain the names of 42 residents along with their unique wish list for this Holiday Season.

How can you participate?
Please see the adoption listing below, choose the resident and fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
Your adopted resident listing will be sent to you within a day or two.

Gift Packaging Guidance - Updated!
1. Please only use the reusable shopping bags with the residents name written onto the bag.
The gift bags have broken in the past and reusable shopping bags offer more substance.
The reusable shopping bags can be purchased at the local grocery stores.
2. No wrapping or loose name tags as they tend to drop off while in transit.
3. Please know that the individual wish lists are suggestions.
Please do not feel obligated to purchase the entire list as this is the residents wish list.
4. Gift Cards to local restaurants and delivery gift cards are welcome.
5. Please write or sew the name into the clothing item.
This saves labeling time for the Home Staffers.

Please plan to have your gift at either option 1 or 2 by Tuesday, December 16 at noon.
If you choose to attend the Holiday Luncheon, please bring your gifts by 12.00 noon on Wednesday, December 17.
