CENTRAL ILLINOIS ​HIGH SCHOOL
​MOCK TRIALS REGIONAL INVITATIONAL

The 2022 MCBA Regional Mock Trial is sponsored by the MCBA Mock Trial Committee and in cooperation with the ISBA Committee on Law Related Education for the Public & the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Trial Courts. This year's tournament will be held on Friday, February 11th 2022.

This year is a shortened event with only two rounds scheduled for the morning. Rounds begin at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

​Please check in at the scorers' table 15 minutes before each round begins. The Mock Trial tournament will be held in 3rd, 4th and 5th floor courtrooms of the Law & Justice Center located at 104 W. Front Street, Bloomington, Illinois.

Please know that parents are welcome to attend.

All participants will be expected to follow the mask guidance within the building. Masks are required and Masks will not be provided.

Students are allowed to bring their electronic devices including cell phones and computers. 

Please see the PARKING Information below. Be sure to print the placard to display in your window or you will receive a parking ticket.

McLean County Law & Justice Center (LJC)

104 W. Front Street - Bloomington, IL  61701

8:00-9:00 a.m. - ​Check-In (Lobby Area)
9:15-9:30 a.m. - Coach Meeting (5th Floor)

9:30-10:45 a.m. - First round
11:00-12:15 p.m. - Second round
12:30 p.m. -  Exit Building 
​
Each team will be assigned a conference room or set of meeting rooms for their students. The courtrooms will likely be on the 4th and 5th floors of the LJC . The Lincoln Parking Deck is located directly east of the LJC. It will not fit a typical school bus due to the low overhang. One block west of the LJC is the U.S. Cellular Coliseum / Pepsi Ice Center. Any buses should be able to stage in the open street areas near the Coliseum. South and west of the U.S. Cellular Coliseum is another parking deck if needed.
