2020 mcba regional high school mock trials

The 2020 MCBA Regional Mock Trial is sponsored by the MCBA Mock Trial Committee and in cooperation with the ISBA Committee on Law Related Education for the Public & the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Trial Courts. This year's tournament will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020. Rounds begin at 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 2:15 p.m. Please check in at the scorers' table 15 minutes before your round begins. The Mock Trial tournament will be held in 3rd, 4th and 5th floor courtrooms of the Law & Justice Center located at 104 W. Front Street, Bloomington, Illinois.

Please see the AGENDA below for more details on this event.

We are always trying to adjust things to have the best tournament we can and we are trying something a little different this year. Many schools bring 2 teams, but that sometimes limits the number of schools that can attend.  Last year, we were at near capacity and had to start a waiting list.  With all that being said, we are going to limit schools to 1 team for the first 2 weeks that registration is open. If you have more than one team, please register both, but the second team will be put on a wait list until the 2 week time frame is up (roughly November 18th) and then will be put in the tournament on a first come basis.

The Registration/Cancellation Deadline is January 13, 2020.

If you have any questions, please contact the McLean County Bar Association Assistant,  Mary Sellmyer.
