MCBA Newsletter decEMBER 16, 2019
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
We have been greeted with an early Winter wonderland ahead of Santa's arrival next week. Please travel safely.
Reminders: We have our Christmas luncheon tomorrow, Tuesday, December 17 at the Bloomington Country Club. Please be ready to share a fun, hilarious, disastrous and/or memorable Holiday experience, law-related or not. And, be ready for some Christmas Trivia in return for some goodies. Do not forget to bring your gifts for Project Santa 2019 as we will be delivering them to the McLean County Nursing Home. Little elves stopped by some of your offices last week to provide some treats as a reminder.
Then, on Friday, December 20, we will be caroling at the nursing home beginning at 2:00 pm. Thereafter, please join us with your significant others at Medici's, beginning at 3:30 pm, for food and some spirits sponsored by our MCBA. Once again, Caroling is NOT a requirement to joining us at Medici's. Please stop by for a spell for however brief or stay as long as you wish ! Let us bring 2019 to a close with a wonderful celebration.
Looking ahead to 2020, please do not forget to renew your Bar membership! See the link above for a convenient renewal. We will have our CLE luncheon - - State of the Circuit on Tuesday, January 21. Then, Saturday, January 25, there will be a fun event for you and your families at the Proving Ground-Bouldering Gym. Please keep a lookout for Registration that will open next month.
Have a great week and hope to see many of you this week !!
