Topics will include: safekeeping of client’s property (trust accounts), duty to report professional misconduct of other attorneys (In re Himmel), dealing with unrepresented persons, confidentiality of information, meritorious claim or contentions, communication with person represented by counsel, firm names and letterhead, attorneys fees, client-lawyer sexual relationships, and ex parte communications with judges.

An Update:
Tuesday, November 29th is Giving Tuesday which is a day that encourages everyone to give in whatever ways that you can. The Illinois State Bar Association's Women & the Law Committee is organizing a donation drive from now until December 9th to support women and children in crisis. Locally, donations will benefit Mid Central Community Action's Neville House. Residents staying at Neville house work closely with trained domestic violence advocates that assist in finding resources for housing, childcare employment, legal representation, transportation, and enhancement of life skills. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to Mid Central Community Action, Inc./Neville House, which is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit either through this LINK or by sending a check made payable to "MCCA/CDV" to Kelly & Castagna, Attn: Laura Castagna, 121 N. Main St., 3rd Fl., Bloomington, IL 61701. If you'd like to donate items, we're accepting diapers, baby wipes, laundry detergent, box fans, bed side lamps, Lysol disinfectant spray, body wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. Donations can be dropped off at the Kelly & Castagna law firm. Thank you for your anticipated support!

***
A local MCBA member, Laura Castagna is a member of ISBA's Women and the Law Committee. That committee is sponsoring a community service project from now until December 9. Residents staying at Neville House work closely with trained domestic violence advocates that assist in finding resources for housing, childcare, employment, legal representation, transportation, and enhancement of life skills. If MCBA members would like to donate, we are collecting items including diapers, pull ups, baby wipes, high efficiency laundry detergent, box fans, bed side lamps, Lysol disinfectant spray, body wash, lotion, blankets, hangers, etc. Donations can be dropped off at our office, 121 N.
