Thank you for all of those who attended the December Luncheon and Congratulations to the award winners. All were well-deserved. It was wonderful to see everyone in person and we plan to have more in-person events in the future.

It has been brought to my attention that our local high schools are in need of financial support to continue to compete at mock trial events. The two local teams are at Normal West Community High School and Normal Community High School. Competition fees for the students have increased during the pandemic as programs moved to “online” methods of competition. The district only pays for the state tournament registration fees. The costs are over $1400.00 per season.

If you are interested in sponsoring and/or supporting the local mock trial teams so that they can continue to thrive (currently over 50 participants between the two programs), please contact JOHN BIERBAUM ( [email protected] ).
