MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

By now, I presume that everyone is back to the grind for the New Year. It was nice to see many of you at the Open House for the "new" firm of Kraft, Wood & Kelly, LLC.

As a friendly reminder, please renew your Bar membership today. See the link above for ease of your renewal. If you know of anyone who might be interested in joining, please reach out to and inform them of the great things being carried out by our members and how one might register for the MCBA. I appreciate your anticipated marketing efforts !

Our next luncheon is next Tuesday, January 21st. It is our annual State of the Circuit. Please register below to hear from our judges on any possible new assignments, new policies and any other changes for 2020.

The High School Mock Trials date is set for Wednesday, February 12. The school slots filled within hours of the opened registration this year. Our Mock Trial hosted event is a highly sought after experience since we offer real court room settings complete with Judge and attorney feedback for the student participants. This event is possible only with your volunteer dedication.
We need your help! Volunteer registration will be available in the next Monday Bar Enewsletter. Volunteering includes free breakfast & lunch and a free Professional Responsibility-Mental Health & Substance Abuse CLE (1 hour CLE PR-MH pending approval.)

The next social event for the Bar is a family adventure. It is a fun day at The Proving Grounds on Saturday, January 25th. Please register below so we can plan. It should be a great time for you and your families and a great workout at the same time. Continue to check our website for future social events as the Social committee continues to work hard to bring us fun and exciting activities.

Have a great week!
