what gen z attorneys want in a workplace

By Laura Bagby, Monday, June 5, 2023 9:15 AM

Fewer aspiring Gen Z attorneys desire to work at a BigLaw firm, according to a 2023 survey from Major, Lindsey & Africa that explored the perspectives, thoughts, and attitudes of Gen Zers on law firm life.

The “Gen-Z: Now Influencing Today’s Law Firm Culture” survey found a 20% decrease in the number of Gen Z law students who said that they wanted to work in BigLaw after graduation compared to the 2020 survey (39% in 2023 vs. 59% in 2020). ethical considerations for lawyers
regarding email encryption

Rachel Brandt
is the 2023 MCBA representative for the “20 Stars for Life” fundraiser!

JULY 20

The fundraiser benefits the Life Foundation’s “Stay 4” Project. https://www.stay4.org/ This program identifies low income students at risk for dropping out of school and links them with educational opportunities and scholarships. It also provides the students with a minimum $1,000 grant once the student enrolls in trade school, community college or a 4 year university. This includes most area high schools including my alma mater, Bloomington High School.

The fundraising event with dinner, drinks and entertainment is on July 20 at the Park Regency Hotel in Bloomington. With the purchase of each ticket, you will be helping at risk kids finish high school and continue their education. Each ticket is $50.

Here is the link to purchase tickets online :

Here is the link for donations, only: https://www.stay4.org/20-stars-donations-2022 and hit donate under “Rachel Brandt” so MCBA is recognized for its contribution.
